How to Help

UCCN is always interested in partnering with our users to further the work of the Lord through our ministry. There are various ways in which we are able to do this, and most of them don't involve any money at all!

Firstly, you can help us to reach more people by telling your friends and family about us, and encouraging them to join us in chat. Then encourage them to tell their friends, and so on.

Secondly, if you run a website which might benefit from having a chat room, create one! Our staff are usually willing to help you if you need any assistance in this area. If you don't have a constant stream of visitors, maybe you could try partnering with similar websites and have a common room for all of your users to talk to each other - it's also a great way for other people to find out about your website.

If you see an area where we are lacking, feel free to step up and fill the gap. We are human, and we all have lives and commitments outside of IRC. This means we don't necessarily have time to prepare bible studies, or that we can't be available every week for a prayer time. We believe UCCN should be more about the users than the staff - the staff exist to ensure that our users are behaving within the confines of our network policies, and that is all. Our goal is to be a community, where if the users desire it and it is possible within the contstraints of our budget, our mission and the laws of the land, we will endeavor to see it happen.

These are all ways in which we would greatly appreciate our users helping out on the network. None of them involve any money towards us. We have always been a purely free service, and that will not change in any way in the foreseeable future. However, if you wish to donate to the United Christian Chat network financially, we will welcome anything you wish to give. Our resources all have monetary costs associated with them, and we choose to pay for these out of our pocket because we believe that God has provided for us to do so. Please remember that giving to the network is kept anonymous, and that we cannot offer any priveleges to those who donate over those who do not.
