About Us

The United Christian Chat Network was initially suggested in 2004 as a way of bringing together several chat networks that were working for the same goals in very similar ways. GodsIRC and Christian-IRC.net were the forerunners, with a few smaller networks joining also. Today we are an IRC network consisting of 4 client servers capable of supporting up to 2000 users. We also have forums in addition to our presence on Facebook, Twitter.

We endeavor to keep our network rules to a minimum, allowing channels as much freedom as possible within the laws of the United States (where our servers are hosted) and within the goal of the network (as a Christian outreach and fellowship device).

Current UCCN Members

AwesomeChristians - Awesome Christians has been through a number of changes since becoming a part of the network. Initially a placeholder site, then a dating site, it is now a repository for funny quotes found in all of Christian IRC, not just here on our network. If it's funny, it's clean and it happened on IRC, submit it - it might just be approved!

Christian-IRC - Christian-IRC is the home of our web forums. Open for discussion of just about anything from general topics to biblical discoveries or curiositys.

GodsIRC - GodsIRC was one of the founding networks of UCCN and is still strong today.

I-aL - Infinitely-aLive is a small collection of IRC related services for UCCN including TheLight (A bible bot, among other duties), StatServ (which assists in providing network statistics), GoldFish (Another bot with various tasks), Supportive (assists in managing support issues in #help) and others.
